Shrove Tuesday Celebrations
To celebrate Shrove Tuesday the children took part in our annual pancake flipping event! Pancakes were flipped, flopped and tossed across the hall as children practiced their skills to race for the title of ‘Class Champion Flipper!’ Following all this excitement, the children exchanged toiletry items, brought from home, for a delicious hot pancake with a topping of their choice! The child-led CIA group (Concern in Action) researched charities across Leeds that they wanted to support. Together they decided to help St George’s Crypt who offer help to the homeless and vulnerable people across Leeds by supplying these people with packages of items they will need.
