Welcome to Barwick-in-Elmet Church of England Primary School and Nursery.
Our school has a unique place at the heart of a supportive village community. As a school we strive not only to educate pupils to their full potential but also to impart a sense of Christian values and a love of God. Our vision for education is deeply Christian, with the promise by Jesus of ‘life in all its fullness’ at its heart. Our vision embraces the spiritual, physical, intellectual, emotional, moral and social development of all our learners.
The vision for our school is to be a community of faith where we believe, achieve and grow together. We aim to embed through an ethos of nurture core Christian values of hope, peace and koinonia. We work together in partnership to achieve our full potential academically, artistically, musically and through sport. We live together to grow in our understanding of each other. We pray together to create a community of faith.
