Meet Nellie!
As one of the world’s greatest explorers, Nellie never sits still! With her trusty binoculars, compass and a map, she could take you anywhere! Need directions? She can tell you how to get from Barwick to Bangkok, or Leeds to Los Angeles, with ease. Trying to explore every continent before becoming a butterfly is a tough aim, but with that many legs, Nellie is determined to do it!
She is just obsessed with peering over the horizon for the next amazing discovery and exploring the real places behind the maps: whether feeling the earth move during an earthquake, climbing the tallest mountains, peering into exploding volcanoes, shaking flippers with an Emperor Penguin, or working out why the Amazon is losing so many trees. Nellie is never ready to put all those feet up, there’s such a lot of world to see.
Who knows where Nellie will pop up next? As she says: Geography is everywhere!
