Our Curriculum
This half term our topic is Heroes and Villains.
Our class hero is Neil Armstrong.
This half term........
English
In English we will be looking at lots of stories about Space and practice retelling stories and empathising with characters. We will also be doing some non-fiction writing about the planets in our Solar System.
Maths
In maths we will be doing lots of work on place value and counting before starting to think about addition and subtraction using the part-part-whole model. We will also be doing some work on measure, as well as 2d and 3d shape.
Science
In Science we will be finding out about our bodies.
History
In History we will be finding out about a significant person from the past - Neil Armstrong.
PE
In Physical Education we will be dancing and learning how to move in different ways.
RE
In Religious Education will be learning about books and stories and finding out why these are special to some people.
09.01.17 - This week we have been learning how to subtract!
