Homework
Homework is due in on a Wednesday!
Please can parents support their children in completing at least the 'must' sections of the homework pyramid?
Whether marked as a weekly homework or not, I expect Y6 pupils to be regularly practising:
- TT Rockstars - fast and fluent recall of times tables
- ReadTheory - reading comprehension skills, with full explanations for any misconceptions
- Prodigy Maths - great fun, but also great practise of maths reasoning skills
Make sure you document any practice; e.g. 'Ten minutes on TT Rockstars', '4 Read Theory extracts covered - 90%', 'MyMaths 1 - 56%'

Summer Term 1 - pre-SATs homework
I understand that many children are also using revision guides, or working with a tutor in the lead up to SATs. Whilst I still expect spellings, reading and times tables practice to be taking place, I am more than happy for a parent to swap out a 'could' or 'should' activity for a revision activity!
