Spellings
You can find the spellings for each week on the bottom section of the homework pyramid. Mrs Kimberley will also send out an individual copy weekly for each child which will have their score on it from the previous week. They can practise on this sheet using Look, Say, Cover, Write, Check method.
A number of parents asked on parents evening about how to engage their child in spelling practice. We advised them to be as creative as possible with learning them. This might mean cutting and sticking string letters, making lego words, using sticks outside or painting the spellings. We hope that this helps!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
