Year 5 - Sycamore
Summer 2016!
Our topic for this half term is Yorkshire.
We are studying the landscape with a visit to the National Coal Mining Museum and The Yorkshire Sculpture Park to inspire us!
We have been working especially hard to improve our understanding of spelling.
We are confidently learning, and using, words from the 100 statutory word list for Y5/6.

The residential trip to Lineham Farm (9th - 11th November) was a great success. Some photographs are on display at the bottom of this page. 
In Year 5 we are very enthusiastic readers. We have shared some fantastic books and have so far enjoyed reading:

- Oranges In No Man's Land
- The Iron Man
