Please can all items be clearly labelled with your child's name. 


Morning Routines

The School doors open at 8:45 am every morning. Please assist your child with hanging their coat on their peg and putting their book-bag away in their tray. We then ask that you help your child choose their lunch, a member of staff will help. Children are encouraged to find their own name to help with name recognition. Please then help to settle your child on the carpet with a book. Parents are asked to leave the classroom by 9am. 


Remember to check your child's tray and book-bag daily for newsletters and updates. 


Reading Books

Reading books will be sent home on a Friday afternoon. Please can these be returned on Wednesday morning. 


We visit the Library every Friday afternoon. Children can choose one book to take home. This needs to be returned on Wednesday, along with your child's reading book and reading record. 



Our current PE day is Thursday morning. We have not started getting changed yet, but are learning to take off and put on our shoes and socks independently. We are also learning to take our jumpers off independently. This is something that can be supported at home, as well as allowing your child to become more independent at getting changed for School and bedtime. 



Water bottles and fruit are available to the children throughout the day. Bottles are washed and filled with clean water daily. Children can have one piece of fruit in the morning, and another in the afternoon. At 3pm children are offered milk, whilst we get ready for home-time.
