Our fantastic Grand Designs topic was launched this week with a competition for children to redesign the outdoor pond area. Every child in the school has the opportunity to consider how the outdoor pond area could be improved and create a plan for its improvement.
On March 26th the plans will be judged by class teachers resulting in 5 entries from each class going onto the next stage.
On March 27th the plans will be judged by special guest judges and the final 5 entrants across the school will be taken to the chosen contractor's work shop / head office to pitch their proposal.
The winning entry will be used as the template for the redesign of our pond area.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
