This morning is was wonderful to welcome Ann and Mike to lead our collective worship. The reminded us to welcome Jesus in to our homes and hearts this Christmas.
Our Collective Worship was interrupted this morning by some mischievous elves! They were extremely playful, and a little bit cheeky. Mr Cutler and Mr Freeman were not impressed by the elves behaviour; both teachers tried to return to class to start their computing lessons. Unfortunately year 3 and year 5 wanted to use the ipads which led to an argument between the two teachers! The elves pointed out that really the school needs more ipads. Amelia, from year 6, suggested that the school could fund raise for new ipads at the Christmas Fayre. The elves thought this was such a good idea that they promised to ask Santa to match the total of ipads the children manage to buy!
The Posada, the travelling crib, has been making its way around the village as part of our Advent celebrations. Eleanor, Anabel, Jasper and Ethan took the posada to Reverend Oliver's house where the family rested for the night before continuing their journey.
