Meet Flo-Jo!
Flo-Jo had always loved being healthy and playing games with her friends but she never knew any rules and longed to be part of a team. You see, she was a shy little dinosaur but had a big dream to be part of the British Olympic Team. Whilst Flo-Jo didn’t know it yet, joining Barwick-in-Elmet Church of England Primary was going to change her life!
Straight from walking in the door, she couldn’t believe all the different opportunities and activities she’d be able to try. She was coached different techniques and enjoyed the feeling of improving. At the end of every day, she’d go home and dream about standing on the Olympic podium.
As she got older, Flo-Jo learned more about the importance of lifestyle and even participated in competitive events! She flourished into a fantastic sportsperson who was humble in victory and gracious in defeat until the day arrived when she stood at the Olympic start line, heart pounding.
Memories flashed through her mind of all the friends she’d made at Barwick and all the fun she’d had.
