Staying safe in the sun
Please remember to apply sunscreen to children before school. Once-a-day sunscreen is ideal. If you are unable to use a once-a-day formula, please remember to hand in your child's named sunscreen and ensure that signed consent has been given for reapplication at lunchtime.
We will ask all children to wear a sunhat whilst playing outside. We do not have any spaces so all children must bring a hat to school. Sunhats can be left in book bags or trays. Please write names in the labels!
When it is particularly hot, we are very aware of the length of time children spend outside and we bring them indoors regularly to sit down and drink water.
If you have any questions about sun safety, please ask your child's Class Teacher.
Wellies!
We spend a lot of time outdoors, whatever the weather! We ask the children to wear wellies when they play outdoors. All children must bring a pair of named wellies to school. Please leave wellies on the welly rack in the Outdoor Area.
If your child comes to school in wellies, please remember to bring a pair of shoes to wear indoors.
