Being independent: Independence skills are a key area of development across the EYFS and is something we focus on daily. Please continue to practice the following at home:

  • taking off and putting on coats
  • putting on shoes (no laces if possible!)
  • going to the toilet independently
  • getting changed independently
  • washing hands independently
  • turning clothes from inside out
  • eating using a fork or spoon

Thank you!
