We are delighted to share with you some of the fantastic drama-centred curriculum work that the children have immersed themselves in through the guidance of our dramatists-in-residence: Alive and Kicking.

Alive And Kicking is dedicated to making drama work which impacts on children both within the curriculum and beyond. They work with children, parents, teachers and the wider community around the child to promote learning, enjoyment and community cohesion through the joint creation of dramatic worlds.
 
Alive And Kicking has been delivering high-quality interactive drama within and beyond our school's creative curriculum. The children have created epic narrative journeys that explore complex moral and social issues and offer a cross-curricular and community focus. 

The Alive And Kicking method gives participants “the mantle of the expert”, and encourages creative freedom within clear supportive structures. The dramatists provide the basic narrative structure or situation and put the participants in the central heroic roles. They make the crucial decisions: they solve the problems.
