Remembrance 2017
Well done to Willow class, for displaying respect for our fallen soldiers whilst visiting Barwick War Memorial on Friday.
We read the names on the memorial, before reading poetry and spending a moment or two in reflection. On the way back to school, we learnt how Jack Heaps' Field is so named because Jack Heaps gifted the playing fields to the village for recreational use, in celebration of his son's safe return home from war.
