The Very Hungry Caterpillar

Listen to the story. How many fruits does the caterpillar eat altogether?  Does he eat more pieces of fruit or more items of picnic food by the end of the week? Explain your reasoning. Draw a picture to show how many of each fruit you would need for 3 caterpillars, 4 caterpillars or 8 caterpillars.

Topic

Spanish

First, practise your counting in Spanish, by singing along with this video.

Then, complete this week’s Spanish task. You will need to remember shape names and number words today.

And, just for fun…

We use numbers all the time, in so many different activities. So, try and finish the week with an activity of your choice that uses numbers. Perhaps you will count how many goals you can score in a minute, or how many teddies you can balance on your head! Or you might do some baking and use numbers to help you measure the ingredients. Have fun!
