Year 6 SATS

SATs Week ~ 9th May

Next week is the End of Key Stage 2 Assessment week, when Willow Class will be taking their SATs. The assessments will take place in the mornings, with mostly normal lessons taking place in the afternoons. During this period we ask that Y6 parents ensure children have plenty of rest (no excessive or strenuous after-school activities), and plenty of sleep (early bedtimes are essential).

All Y6 children are invited to a special SATs Breakfast Club in Willow Classroom at 8.30am each morning; there will be a variety of tasty items available. If not attending the breakfast club, please ensure your child is in school—after a having a good breakfast—by as close to 8.45am as possible.

Children may bring in a small mascot or good luck charm to have on their desks during SATs time; please send this in on Monday morning.

The SATs Assessments take place as follows:

9th May: English Reading Test

10th May: English Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling Tests

11th May: Mathematics, Paper 1 Arithmetic Test and Paper 2         Reasoning Test

12th May Mathematics, Paper 3 Reasoning Test  Paper

We are sure you will join us in wishing Willow Class the very best of luck for next week!
